Why I Built Schoolhouse
I wish I'd learned sooner that I didn't have to do every part of homeschooling myself.
After more than 20 years of homeschooling my own kids, I know how easy it is to believe that because we chose homeschooling, we're supposed to personally carry every piece of it.
Plan the lessons. Find the curriculum. Print the worksheets. Teach every subject. Keep everybody on track.
But getting help doesn't make you less of a homeschool mom.
I built Schoolhouse so families could have curriculum when they need a plan, teachers when they need help, resources when they need something now, and community when they need people who understand.
